THE HEMP GROWERS FROM WISCONSIN


An 8 hour road trip with a 7 year old and my camera. Four days of shooting my amazing, trusting friends, and a whole lot of gummie talk.

Prepared for it all? Maybe not quite but good thing I'm a pro at winging it.


I used every ounce of past experience I have because we had alllll the things to deal with.

  • outfitting 10 people who weren't available for fittings prior to the shoot
  • coordinating everyone's schedules the week before school started
  • scouting out locations unique enough to suit our needs
  • wind and weather
  • teenagers (need I say more, all you parents of teenagers?!)
  • bleeding foreheads
  • a bee sting for poor Violet
  • scoldings from one of our venues for changing in public and playing music (yup. that happened)

But we made it! And see?! They are smiling. : ) We did it right.
