Every summer deserves an iPhone dump.
Not because the photos are perfect (they're definitely not - these are all iphone), but because they're proof that life happened in between all the calendar notifications.
This summer I've been trying to keep Mondays open.
Keyword: trying.
Turns out running a business means Mondays have a sneaky way of filling themselves up. A client needs one more favor. Someone can "only do Monday." An opportunity pops up that feels too good to pass up. Before I know it, my "day off" is carrying a camera.
But I've noticed something has shifted anyway.
I'm saying yes to living slower. More evenings where my phone stays on the counter because the conversation is just better. More time with Violet. More laughing with Heidi. More moments that don't accomplish anything... except reminding me why I work so hard in the first place.
For a long time I measured my life by productivity.
Lately, I'm trying to measure it by presence.
I'm still wildly ambitious. I still have goals that make my Google Calendar sweat. But I'm realizing success isn't just building a business you love—it's building a life you don't constantly need a vacation from.
So here's a little collection of ordinary moments from the past few months.
Nothing groundbreaking.
Just a reminder—to you and to me—that this is the good stuff.
And if next Monday ends up full again... it's OK. Heidi and I leave for Florida on Tuesday.
