How to show up ready-ish. I’ll handle the rest.
WHAT to WEAR
HAVE options. More is better. We’ll go through everything together and choose what photographs best. PROFESSIONAL WARDROBE STYLING IS AVAILABLE, TOO, AND MAY BE INCLUDED IN YOUR SESSION.
A few things to think about: What do you own that makes you feel really damn good? Bring variety: casual, dressy, structured, soft, sexy, unexpected. Think in complete looks, including shoes, jewelry and the right undergarments.
Layers and texture photograph beautifully.
Bring the thing you’re not sure about OR NEVER HAVE HAD A PLACE TO WEAR IT. Sometimes it ends up being OUR FAVORITE.
Don’t buy an entirely new wardrobe for your session. I want you to look like you.
Not sure? Bring it. Editing your wardrobe is part of my job, too.
HAIR & MAKEUP
The goal is to look like you on a very, very good day.
IF HAIR & MAKEUP IS INCLUDED IN YOUR SHOOT, Arrive with a clean FACE AND DRY HAIR.
IF YOU’RE DOING YOUR OWN MAKEUP, PHOTOGRAPH-READY USUALLY MEANS A LITTLE MORE DEFINITION THAN EVERYDAY MAKEUP, especially eyes.
Avoid trying anything new. Now is not the time for a beauty experiment.
Take a look at nails, brows, roots and facial hair a few days beforehand. neutral nails are best.
I highly recommend Lumify eye drops and whitening strips for your teeth. Bright eyes and white teeth = youth
Men: think about when you want to shave or trim so your skin has time to settle.

We’ll sit down after your shoot and look through your images while everything is still fresh.
What you purchase, if anything, is entirely up to you. Time is reserved at the end of your session to make your selections that same day.
