My first interaction with Angie

You never know when you're first meeting someone how they will impact your life in the end. Angie reached out through the contact form on my website as most clients do. As usual, the next step was to chat on the phone to see if we are a fit for one another. Angie was referred by an old classmate, Tina, who is a beautiful photography client of mine.

When we connected on the phone, Angie shared a bit of her story with me and why she was interested in participating in my 40 over 40 experience. She spoke and I listened.

Angie is 59, divorced, and has been sober for 6 years. She has struggled with relationships, substance abuse, and self-value. Through some very hard work and GRIT, she is choosing to find joy everyday and for that I am so proud of her. Life isn't aways sunshine and rainbows and she is living proof that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Here are her favorite images from our session together - and she loved her album so much she made me autograph it (which felt so wrong taking a sharpie to such a beautiful piece of art. No pressure!)
